MANILA, Philippines - The ban on the deployment of au pairs to European countries has been lifted after the ad-hoc Technical Working Group (TWG) issued a new set of guidelines, Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario announced yesterday.

The new “Guidelines on the Departure of Au Pairs to Europe” were approved to facilitate the departure of au pairs and provide safety nets and protection.

Humarap sa Dubai Court of First Instance nitong Linggo (Pebrero 19) ang 24-anyos na Indian national subalit itinanggi nito ang akusasyon laban sa kanya ng 24-anyos din na biktimang Pinay.

ANOTHER batch of 21 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from war-torn Syria arrived yesterday afternoon at the NAIA. 

Administrator Carmelita Dimzon of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) said the repatriated workers have availed of the mandatory repatriation program offered by the government thru the Philippine Embassy in Damascus  as it  raised alert level  number 4 in December last year.
