POEA Axes 21 Recruitment Agencies

THE licenses of 21 recruitment agencies have been canceled while those of 12 others have been suspended from January to May for violating the recruitment laws and the provisions of the Amended Migrant Workers and Overseas Workers Act, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration revealed.

POEA administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said the 21 agencies with cancelled licenses are: EMR Construction and Manpower Services Inc.; Tai-Fil Manpower Services Corporation; Lucky International Placement Services, Inc.; Jems International Placement Agency Corp.; Masaya International Placement Agency; Prime Stars International Promotion Corporation; Dreams Manpower and Recruitment Agency;
