Report in real-time suspected human trafficking activities with the option of attaching photographs and videos as evidence. The identities of the users will be treated with utmost confidentiality. They will also have access to information and news updates about human trafficking and directory of IACAT member agencies.

 

MANILA, Philippines - Nasakote ng mga operatiba ng PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Anti-Transnational and Cyber Crime Division (PNP-CIDG-ATCCD) ang dalawang illegal re­cruiter sa Quezon City habang 17 namang biktima ng illegal recruitment ang nasagip sa serye ng raid sa Malate, Manila kama­kalawa, ayon sa opisyal kahapon.

Kinilala ni PNP-CIDG Chief P/Director Samuel Pagdilao Jr., ang mga nasakoteng suspek na sina Celia Corpuz, 55, ng Cubao, Quezon City at Lolita Etchorre, 62, ng Pasig City.

Ang mga ito ay nasakote sa entrapment operation sa isang fast food restaurant sa Farmer’s Market sa Cubao, Quezon City.

Sinabi ni Pagdilao na ang operasyon sa matagumpay na pagkaaresto sa dalawang illegal recruiter ay matapos ang mga itong ireklamo ni Jo­nathan Dumlao at na umano’y nakulimbatan ng P350,000 ng mga suspek bilang placement at processing fee para umano makapagtrabaho sa New Jersey­, USA bilang mga herbal medicine packagers.

Sa testimonya ng mga biktima natuklasan lamang umano nila na naloko sila ng suspek matapos mabigo ang mga itong ipadala sila sa abroad at sa halip ay humihingi pa ng karagdagang bayad sa pagpoproseso ng kanilang aplikasyon.

Samantalang nailigtas naman ang 17 kataong biktima ng illegal recruitment matapos salakayin ng mga operatiba ang isang apartment sa Malate, Manila na pinangakuan naman ng mga suspek na bibigyan ng trabaho bilang mga domestic helper sa Middle East.
